Friday, September 13th
- Let love find you at Pet Smart’s National Weekend Adoption Event that will be held each day this weekend from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
- Bring your homeschooled children to the McAllen Public Library’s Junior Detective Book Club: Case #1 from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
- Bring the family for pedal boating, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding on Town Lake at Firemen’s Park! This event will be held each day this weekend from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
- Listen to live music and enjoy good food at Viva La Luna Viva La Independencia. This event will be held at Moonstruck Market from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
- Stop by the Friday the 13th Art Festival at Yerberia Cultura for food, pop-ups, live music, and more! This event will be held from 7:00 PM until 2:00 AM.
- Join London Grill & Tavern for the very scary Friday Night Funnies comedy show from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM. There are presale tickets available online for $5. Click here to purchase.

Saturday, September 14th
- Try Tai Chi, led by qualified instructors, at the McAllen Nature Center from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There is a suggested park admission fee of $1.
- Do something creative with your kids and join the Chip Monster’s Spider-Verse: Street Art Workshop for Kids + Parents. This event will be held at Kaboom Comics from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM with a workshop fee of $8 per participant.
- Shop locally at the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
- Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch is back! Stop by Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM for photo opportunities with your friends and family. Presale tickets are available online for $5. Click here to purchase.
- Practice Yoga at the McAllen Farmer’s Market from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
- Join Thanos: Pixel Art Workshop for Kids + Parents at Kaboom Comics from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. There is a workshop fee of $8 per participant.
- Build and create with LEGO Club at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Sunday, September 15th
- Have an early morning bike ride at the Sunday Sapo Gravel Ride from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Meet at La Plaza Mall’s Sun & Ski Sports.
- The Free Family Sunday Funday at the IMAS is scheduled from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
- Learn about rain and the water cycle at STEAMworks: Rainy Day Science at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
- Bring your kids to the Baby Storytime event at the McAllen Public Library from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
- Spend your Sunday Funday evening at Bike Night at Whiskey Barrel Bar & Grill from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM.
