The McAllen Nature Center is a 33 acre nature site dedicated to the enjoyment of the outdoors. Enjoy 1.6 miles of trails (including ¾ mile ADA accessible) through the forest. Formerly known as the McAllen Botanical Gardens, the McAllen Nature Center is host to a variety of plant and animal species. Programs take place during regular hours of operation. Parking, picnic tables and restrooms available on-site. Free Admission. Programs are FREE unless otherwise noted.
