July 7th – Live Raptor Show with Sky Kings Falconry
This special night will feature discussions on the history of these incredible birds along with their unique traits and natural abilities. Featuring hawks, owls, falcons, vultures and other raptors, the audience will even see the birds’ hunting styles and techniques in person!
July 14th – Flight of the Butterflies
Learn about the iconic Monarch Butterfly! This unique creature weighs less than a penny, yet makes one of the longest migrations on Earth across a continent to a secluded place it’s never been to before. For the first time ever, witness its transformation from caterpillar to butterfly inside a chrysalis thanks to advanced MRI and micro CT scans. Be captivated by the true and compelling story of an intrepid scientist’s 40-year search to find their secret hideaway with the help of citizen scientists across North America.

Come dressed in your Spiderman costume and learn all about arachnids from Arachnologist David Moellendorf! Long-time manager and arachnid wrangler of Austin’s own Zoo Keeper Exotics, David will help you’ll learn all about spiders and their special abilities!
August 4th – Bubble Concert in the Park
Music, bubbles and learning! Bring your little ones and have a fun time with songwriter and singer Joe McDermott. He will have your little ones dancing to great beats with the enchantment of bubbles!

Park admission is $3 per person, which includes the program and no advance reservation is required. Raspas are not included with admission but can be purchased separately.
