Quinta Mazatlan

Quinta Mazatlan is an urban oasis among the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors come here from near and far to get back to nature and enjoy a walk down one of it’s trails and see the variety of birds that live and migrate here. It is the McAllen wing of the World Birding Center. Quinta is a great place to explore and learn about the flora and fauna of this region by hiking throughout the 15 acres of the birding habitat.

Their mission is to preserve the 1930s country estate located on the grounds, and the native plants and animals of the Rio Grande Valley. They do this by providing a sanctuary for environmental education, eco-tourism and serving as an inspiration to people of all ages.
