Fireman’s Park

If you’re the type of person who loves spending the outdoors in the warm sun and in the company of those most important to you, then Fireman’s Park in McAllen is a great place to be. Town Lake at the park has taken fun, outdoor community activities to a new level with pedal boats, stand-up boats and kayaks! Bring your friends and family out to bask beneath the warm, clear skies of South Texas while you paddle gently through the cozy lake.

Pedal Boats & Kayaks

Rides are only $5.00 per person for a 30 minute session. Children 36 inches and shorter ride for free.

Fishing: Catch & Release

Fishing pole rentals are $5.00. Supplies like basic bait, tackle, and other items are available for purchase at the H2O Hut.

Refreshments: The H2O Hut

Delicious snacks for the whole family. Purchase popcorn, snacks, water, sodas, and plenty more.

Programs: Adults & Children

Get there early and enjoy family-friendly activities at the park all summer long. The park is open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Summer weekend hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Grow’n Growers Farmers Market

Every Saturday, you can shop from a variety of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables from local growers and farms! This Farmers Market offers homemade breads, fresh eggs, grass fed beef, natural soaps, jams, jellies, and a wide variety of all-natural products. Stop by Town Lake at Fireman’s Park between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM
