Friday, November 15th

- Donate canned and non-perishable goods during Community Cans at Grain to Glass from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Enjoy music, local vendors, artists, and more!
- Enjoy live music during Kiss MY ALS at Yerberia Cultura from 7:00 PM until 12:00 AM.
- Stop by McAllen Food Park Unplugged from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM for live music, food trucks, and local arts and craft vendors.

Saturday, November 16th
- Try Tai Chi at the McAllen Nature Center from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There is a suggested donation of $1 per person for general admission.
- Celebrate Texas Recycles Day 2019 at the City of McAllen Recycling Center from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
- Visit the Birding Our Backyard event at Quinta Mazatlán from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM. There is a general admission fee of $3 per person.
- Shop locally at the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
- Learn about lizards, snakes, frogs, and more at the Boy Scout Workshop: Reptile and Amphibian Study at the IMAS from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. There is a fee of $10 per participant, click here to register.
- Join the Autumn Fair at Uncommon Grounds from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM.
- Stop by Kaboom Comics for Christmas Arts & Crafts Workshops by The Chip Monsters from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. There is a fee of $8 per participant. Please register by visiting the Events Section on their Facebook Page and selecting “Going.”
- Fall Market Day will be held at IB High School at Lamar Academy from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
- Visit Crafts and More! during the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
- Sensory Saturday will be held at the McAllen Public Library from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Children can enjoy experiences at their own pace with unique learning tools. Best for ages 3 and up.
- Nature Nuggets: Give Thanks to Nature at Quinta Mazatlán will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. There is a general admission fee of $3 per person.
- Calling all animal lovers! Stop by Quinta Mazatlán for their Creature Feature event from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. There is a general admission fee of $3 per person.
- Attention all Pokémon trainers! Stop by the November Community Day at Bill Schupp Park from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Emily’s Meals will be accepting donations during this event.
- Practice Yoga at the McAllen Farmers Market from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
- Stop by Roosevelt’s at 7 for their 11th Anniversary Celebration from 1:00 PM until 12:00 AM. There will be beer specials, raffles, and live music!
- Fall in Love Adoption Event will be held at Worldwide Pet Products Factory Outlet from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
- Join Author Storytime with Ron Ramirez at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
- Bike McAllen Social Presents: Bikesgiving, beginning at 5:30 PM. This is a Thanksgiving-themed bike ride where donations to the RGV Food Bank are encouraged. All canned goods will be collected before and after the ride. Meet up at the McAllen City Hall Parking Lot at 4:45 PM for a six- to eight-mile, no-drop ride.
- Enjoy a live performance by La Adictiva Banda San Jose De Mesillas at the McAllen Performing Arts Center beginning at 8:00 PM. Click here to purchase tickets.

Sunday, November 17th
- Enjoy a bike ride with the Sun & Ski Sports Team during their Sunday Sapo Gravel Ride from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Meet at their La Plaza Mall location and don’t forget your helmet and water bottle!
- Try Beer Yoga at The Yard from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. There is a fee of $20 per person. Click here to register.
- The Free Family Sunday Funday at the IMAS is scheduled from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
- Discovering Your Ancestors on Ancestry Library Edition will be held at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
- Let’s do some autumn-themed science during STEAM Works – Fall Science at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Recommended for children in third through fourth grade.
- Philosophy for Everyone: Science Explains Truth About Universe will be held at the IMAS from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
- Bring your little one for stories, signs, and playtime during Baby Storytime! This event will be held at the McAllen Public Library from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
- Join a staff member for Art in the Park at the McAllen Nature Center from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There is a suggested donation fee of $1 per person.
- Join Salome on Main for At The Table, a dinner benefiting the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation. This event is scheduled from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a fee of $125 per person. Click here to reserve your seat.
