Going back to school doesn’t have to be a drag. The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) is making sure that the community is excited and ready for the new school year with “Back to School Bash 2016”! This event will be held on Saturday, August 20th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
What to Expect
Every year, IMAS and R Communications team up to celebrate the start of the new school year by providing FREE general admission to the museum filled with plenty of family-oriented activities, like magic and puppet shows, Live Animal Talks, face painting, Science on a Sphere presentations and FREE books for ages K-12 provided by the South Texas Literacy Coalition.
Be Early for FREE School Supplies
The first 300 students will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies to get them ready for the new school year.
