I Love the Valley Selfie Wall

Downtown McAllen | 109 S. 17th St.

Brought to you by the McAllen Network crew, this selfie wall has iconic palm trees and is an homage to the best city in the Valley. It can be found near an alley behind the Baccarat and Mezzanine Lounge in Downtown McAllen. The best time to snag a selfie here is around 10:00 AM before parking in the area makes it difficult.

Sweet Roses

Amistad Wholesale Floral & Crafts | 1416 Fresno Ave.

This one is a sweet surprise. While exploring Downtown McAllen, we luckily came across this hidden treasure. Between 15th St. and Fresno Ave. lies Amistad Wholesale Floral & Crafts, and while inside is every craft lover’s dream, their exterior wall is a selfie dream come true! When taking a picture, remember to feed the downtown meter a quarter or two.

The Heroes Wall

Kaboom Comics & Collectables | 801 Pecan Blvd.

This wall is every comic book lover’s dream! Kaboom Comics & Collectables’ Hero Wall has eight of your favorite superheroes, from Wonder Woman to Iron Man. It’s a huge abstract wall of awesomeness that you’ll want to capture!

La Guadalupe Wall

Suerte Bar & Grill | 301 S. 17th St.

The newest addition to McAllen’s selfie walls comes from Suerte Bar & Grill. This popular hangout has La Guadalupe Wall. It’s a perfect representation of the mix of culture and creativity that awaits you inside. With almost every inch of Suerte bringing you the perfect selfie, from Selena murals, a giant Lóteria wall and so much more South Texan infusion, we promise that you’ll take tons of pictures at this location, but don’t take our word for it. Go check it out for yourself!

“Anyways Here’s Wonderwall”

Thirsty Monkey | 1613 Chicago Ave.

You get a two for one special at Thirsty Monkey! Not only do they have the most iconic wall in the Rio Grande Valley, but if you happen to grab a drink inside, you’ll also get to see their giant ”Beer is Love” wall. It’s pretty straightforward and we won’t disagree with its message either. They also have Mario-Banksy-inspired wall art inside too. This location is fully decked out with many selfie opportunities!
