Friday, June 7^th

• Test your photography skills at Photo Fun Fridays at Quinta Mazatlán from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. There will be a $3 admission fee.
• Listen to the 2019 McHi Mariachi Summer Spectacular at McAllen High School. This event begins at 6:30 PM with a $5 admission fee.
• Enjoy Mario Aguilar’s comedy performance at the McAllen Performing Arts Center at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available here.
• Discover original art, live music, and food at the June 7^th Art Show at Yerberia Cultura starting at 8:30 PM. This is a free event and all ages are welcome.

Saturday, June 8^th

• Tai Chi Under the Oaks will be held at the McAllen Nature Center from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There is a suggested donation of $1 per person.
• Beginners Butterfly Walk at the McAllen Nature Center will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
• Learn about home-buying at the Home Buyers Fair at the McAllen Convention Center from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. This is a free, bilingual event.
• Support RGV Ride to Fight Suicide at Desperado Harley Davidson from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
• Purchase farm-fresh products at Connecting With Crafters, happening at the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
• Nature Nuggets at Quinta Mazatlán is scheduled from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. There will be a $3 admission fee.
• Join the creation of ArtLab Mural: Space at the McAllen Public Library from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
• Have some fun at the last Sunset Live Outdoor Concert Series of the season at the McAllen Convention Center from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
• John Milton will be at the McAllen Performing Arts Center beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available online.

Sunday, June 9^th

• Free Family Sunday Funday at the IMAS Museum will take place from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

• Try Tai Chi Under the Oaks at the McAllen Nature Center from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. Park admission is a $1 per person suggested donation.
• Be a part of Heroes Run 2019 at Town Lake at Fireman’s Park from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Register at Valley Running Company located at 1701 W. Dove Ave. J or online by clicking here.
• Stop by the Block Party at The Shops at Upas & 11^th from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The market will feature a collection of local artisans, local crafters, seasonal decor, and so much more!
• Enjoy Movies in the Park at Westside Park Ballfields from 7:00 PM until 10:30 PM. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic items for a unique movie experience! Food trucks will be available. This event is FREE!
• Visit PetSmart for a Kitten Adoption Event at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. This event will continue on Sunday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Sunday, June 2^nd

• Join the Summer Reading Launch Party from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the McAllen Public Library. Enjoy free popcorn and fun activities for the whole family!
• Make time for Sunday French Film of the Month: Intouchables at Cine El Rey from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

• Join a special Mansion Tour at Quinta Mazatlán from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Learn about the interesting history and stories of the Quinta Mazatlán mansion and the nature that surrounds it. The cost of admission is $3.00.
• McAllen High School’s award-winning production of Newsies: The Musical is back for two more performances beginning on Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 2:30 PM. Purchase tickets online by clicking here.
