MXLAN 2025

MXLAN is a 3-day summer art and music festival that celebrates young Latino culture through immersive experiences in art, music, and community. This vibrant celebration returns to the McAllen Convention Center with:

• The Artisan Mercado, featuring handmade goods, clothing, art, and more
• Live mural painting throughout the weekend in Creator in Motion
• High-energy performances including folklórico, fire dancers, and live music
• The colorful Calenda Parade, bringing movement and tradition to the outdoor plaza
• A wide variety of food and drink vendors offering local flavors and festival favorites
• The Neon Nights 5K on opening night (May 9), with medals, shirts, and free fest admission for participants
• Fireworks and the iconic burning of the MXLAN letters to close out the night
