“7th Annual Frida in Red Group Art Exhibition”

McAllen. Hinovations Art Gallery will highlight National Hispanic Heritage Month in September by featuring local and international artists as they pay tribute to the historic and memorable Mexican painter, Frida Kahlo, during the Seventh Annual Frida in Red Exhibition. Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States.
The Exhibition Opening Reception will be packed with original artwork, performances and community involvement. It is a Free Event and the public is invited to attend. “Seventh Annual Frida in Red” will take place on Friday, September 6 from 6pm – 9pm at Hinovations Art Gallery located at 1009 Laurel Ave, McAllen Texas.

Elke Allen, Celerino Castillo, Monica Chang, Mark Clark,
Karla de la Fuente, John Dicandia, Gracie Garcia, Wendy Gilbert, Diana Gordon, Chelsea Fedigan, Hazel Hensley, Juliet Hernandez, Lupe Hernandez, Raquel Hinojosa, Sean Hughes, Jeannine Leal, Rene Lopez, Thelma Lugo, Jacqueline Martinez, Yaya Rojas, Fulden Sara Wissinger, Alexandra Pacheco and Mariana Prado.
The public will also be delighted by listening to a talented array of local Poets and musicians who will showcase their skills at our Poetry Reading. This segment of Frida In Red is scheduled from 6:30PM – 8:30PM with poets reading though out the evening. The line-up of poets include:
