Serving Thanksgiving memories, one plate at a time.
The season of giving is here and there is no better way to spend it than in the company of your family. Celebrate this joyous holiday with your loved ones at HEB’s 26th Annual Feast of Sharing holiday dinner to embrace the holiday spirit. HEB’s Thanksgiving feast will be held at the McAllen Convention Center on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This evening’s Thanksgiving dinner is absolutely FREE for all who attend.
HEB’s faithful commitment to fighting hunger helps this project become a reality. Each year, extensive preparations are made with the goal of serving a Thanksgiving feast to over 250,000 residents in 23 communities across Texas. Each Feast of Sharing provides:
- 3,000 pounds of sliced turkey
- 2,500 pounds of cornbread dressing
- 750 pumpkin pies
- 380 gallons of mashed potatoes
- 140 gallons of turkey gravy
- 95 gallons of cranberry sauce
The Feast of Sharing goes above and beyond in offering a holiday feast. Guests can also enjoy music, arts and crafts projects, kid-friendly activities and, best of all, a meet-and-greet with Santa Claus.
