Saturday, May 4th- World Vision Global 6K for Water at Fireman’s Park from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Registration for adults is $50.00 and children under 18 is $25.00.

- McAllen Public Works Block Party 2019 is scheduled to take place at 4201 N. Bentsen Rd. This is a free event beginning at 9:00 AM.
- Beginners Butterfly Walk at the McAllen Nature Center from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
- Free Comic Book Day at participating comic book shops.
- May the 4th Be With You Party at Deloreans starting at 10:00 PM.
- Star Wars Day: Build Your Own Lightsaber Noodle Workshop for Kids at Kaboom Comics from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. Admission fee is $9 per child.
- May the 4th! Let’s Get Sith-Faced! at Bourbon St. Grill from 12:00 PM until 11:30 PM.
- 5th Annual Star Wars Day Movie Marathon at Cine El Rey from 3:00 PM until 10:30 PM.
