Friday, December 13^th

• Come out and support a variety of small businesses at the Holiday Market at Azucar y Sal from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM.
• All new and existing IMAS members are invited to the 2019 Member’s Night: Winter Blast event from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Members can enjoy refreshments and fun activities!
• Listen to local musicians and shop from 50 different vendors and artists at the A Nightmare Before Christmas Show at Yerberia Cultura from 7:00 PM until 1:00 AM. There is a general admission fee of $5 per person at the door.
• Bring your friends and family to the two-day art and music celebration Illumina Fest at Quinta Mazatlán from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM this evening and on Saturday, December 14^th. There is an admission fee of $5 per person. Click here to purchase. Kids under two years of age get free admission.

Saturday, December 14^th

• The IMAS welcomes families to get into the holiday spirit with their Gingerbread House Workshops. This event is scheduled every Saturday in December with a variety of workshop timeslots. There is a fee of $5 per participant. Click here to register. Note: workshop fees do not include the cost of general admission.
• Try Tai Chi in the Park at the McAllen Nature Center from 8:00 AM until 9:00 AM. There is a suggested donation fee of $1 per person.
• Join LACKS Dasher and Prancer 5K Run/Walk at Fireman’s Park beginning at 8:30 AM. There is a fee of $25 per adult and $10 per child. Please click here to register.
• Enjoy a guided walk during Birding Our Backyard at Quinta Mazatlán from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM. There is a park admission fee of $3 per person.
• Shop locally at the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
• Shop from over thirty local vendors at the Christmas Market at the Trenton View Shopping Center from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Plus, stop in for “Selfies with Santa” at noon.
• Holiday Market: Bells will be Ringing will be held at Moonstruck Market from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
• Stop by the Holiday Market at Nikki Rowe High School from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. There will be food trucks, art, crafts, and more!
• Anime Boom 1-Year Anniversary Sale will be going on from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Stop by Anime Boom for awesome deals, all-day anime screenings, and the “2x Spicy Ramen Challenge.”
• Practice Yoga at the McAllen Farmers Market from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
• Snap a photo with Santa Claus at Desperado Harley-Davidson from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
• The Writing from the Heart Workshop will be held at Luna Coffee House from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM. There is a $5 fee per participant on-site.
• Bring your friends and family to the C & Y Christmas Party at the American Legion Loyal Service Post 37 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. There will be food, games, cookie icing, and more!
• Join the Worldwide Pet Products Factory Outlet Grand Opening Event from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. There will be free hot dogs for the first 125 guests to arrive.

• Enjoy live music from local artists and shop at the artisan market during the pet-friendly event known as Sunset Live: Outdoor Concert Series held at the McAllen Convention Center’s Oval Park from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
• A Magical Christmas Tree paint night will be held at J’aime Les Livres from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There is a $35 fee per participant with all materials included. Click here to reserve your spot.

Sunday, December 15^th

• Enjoy a bike ride with the Sun & Ski Sports Team during their Sunday Sapo Gravel Ride from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Meet at their La Plaza Mall location and don’t forget your helmet and water bottle!
• Cats + Dogs Street Art Workshop for Kids will be happening at Kaboom Comics from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM. There is a fee of $10 per participant with all workshop materials provided. Please register by visiting the Events Section on their Facebook page and selecting “Going.”
• A Chanukah Party will be held at the McAllen Public Library from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Learn about the holiday of Chanukah with stories, songs, crafts, and more! Recommended for children five and under.
• Stop by The Wish Market 4^th Edition at The Yard from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
• Bring your little ones for stories, signs, and playtime at Baby Storytime! This event will be held at the McAllen Public Library from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
• Pure Golden Hour will be held at The Landmark featuring a free, one-hour yoga class hosted by The Shala on Main from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM. There will be live music by The Dirty Birdies and it’s a 21+ only event.
• Join a staff member for Art in the Park at the McAllen Nature Center from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. There is a suggested donation of $1 per person.
