Friday, October 11th
- Enjoy vegan products, live music, and more at Holistica Fest. This event will be held at the Mcallen Public Library from 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM.
- Make time with your family for Boat & Fish on Town Lake at Firemen’s Park each day this weekend from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
- Sharpen your drawing skills at the Charcoal Workshop with Erica Daborn at the IMAS from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There is a fee of $12 per participant. Advanced registration is required and is for ages 16 and up. Click here to register.
- Sip, mingle, and shop during Blooms and Bubbly at Southern Roots Flower Market from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
- Enjoy an evening of magic, music, and crafts during Bruja’s Night at Luna Coffee House beginning at 6:00 PM.
- Have some laughs at the Friday Night Funnies Comedy Show. This event will be held at London Grill & Tavern beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available for $5 per person. Click here to purchase.

Saturday, October 12th
- Have a nice stroll around the McAllen Nature Center and learn about butterflies during the Beginners Butterfly Walk from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. There is a suggested donation of $1 for park admission.
- Dive into the world of computer science during the Girl Scouts Workshop: Coding for Good at the IMAS from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM. There is a fee of $10 per participant. Register online by clicking here.
- Shop for fresh organically-grown vegetables, fruits, baked goods, plants, and more at the McAllen Farmers Market from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
- Come and meet your favorite voice actors and participate in fun events at Anime Fiesta! This event will be held at the McAllen Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. Click here to purchase your weekend passes online.
- Practice Yoga at the McAllen Farmers Market from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
- The Sunset Live: Outdoor Concert Series is back at the McAllen Convention Center’s Oval Park from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Enjoy live music, food trucks, an artisan market, and more! This event is pet-friendly.

- Bring your friends to Schneider’s Oktoberfest at Schneider’s German Gasthaus and Beergarden from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
- Bring your little ones for stories, signs, and playtime during Baby Storytime at the McAllen Public Library from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
