UTRGV Theatre

The Main Stage Season, four full-length plays during the fall and spring semesters, is produced by the University Theatre. Each performance runs for one week, usually in October, December, March and April.

The goal of the University Theatre is to give the audience, actors and crews a wide opportunity of each theatrical period, style and genre. From Greek tragedies to modern comedies, our yearly program is chosen with everyone in mind.
Auditions are open to the community and everyone is welcome to try out for a cast or crew position. The University Theatre aims to give everyone an equal opportunity and a professional attitude of working in theatre.
